The Flexible Support Fund
Key Points
· £250m available to providers who can offer employability training to assist unemployed learners on the pathway towards or into employment.
· Runs until 2025.
· DWP will allocate individual contracts of up to £500k each. There is no limit to the number of contracts providers can secure during the lifetime of the programme.
· In addition to the funding DWP also tend to provide the learners.

The list below provides a summary of 10 randomly selected contract opportunities offered by DWP for week commencing 10/1/22.
1. Peer mentoring for ex-offenders to assist learners in training, education or employment. 55 learners. £99,000 available
2. Confidence building/coaching. 35 learners. £45,500 available
3. Job search support. 40 learners. £30,000 available
4. Job Search Support. 80 learners. £60,000 available
5. Basic IT Skills Training. 50 learners. £65,000 available
6. Mentoring support for ex-offenders. 30 learners. £55,000 available
7. Food Hygiene and/or Customer Service Training. 10 learners. £20,000 available
8. Employability training for those with Autism/Asperger’s/ADHD. 50 learners. £75,000 available
9. ESOL training. 10 learners. £20,000 available
10. Level 2 Food and Hygiene delivery. 20 learners. £45,000 available
Opportunities via the Flexible Support Fund are only open to providers who have successfully applied to join the Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS2).
